Piatto Restaurant
The brief for Piatto, a garden-inspired restaurant focused on creative vegetarian dishes, was all about capturing both elegance and the vibrant appeal of plant-based cuisine. The aim was to highlight their unique approach, where fresh, high-quality ingredients take centre stage in a refined, welcoming setting.
I began by defining a theme that balanced elegance with exclusivity, developing visuals that emphasised freshness and a garden ambiance. This project also marked one of my first experiences with motion design — I used After Effects to experiment with animated icons and logo elements. Initially, I leaned toward an illustrative style, but to capture a high-end feel, I switched to using rich, high-quality imagery. Adding subtle film grain to posters gave it an old-world charm, enhancing the restaurant’s luxurious and garden-inspired atmosphere.
